Sex is about Health, Not Just Recreation

Great sex makes women look & feel 2-8 years younger and men who have sex 3x/week have lower heart attack & stroke risk.

Humans may be the most sexual species of them all. We in fact have sex at all the times of the menstrual cycle, in fact throughout our whole lives, even if we are not able to have children. So, that shows how important it is and also it is very important from the standpoint of how long we live. Men who have sex three times a week have a 50% reduction in heart attacks and strokes compared to their peers. For women it’s quality, so if you have high quality sex the amount of times you want it, it translates to 2-8 years younger in feeling, looking and physiological being. A study showed that men believe that having sex once a week instead of once a month is the equivalent to a $50,000 increased income.

Medical doctors Roizen and Oz, the authors of the manual ‘You: Being Beautiful, The Owner’s Manual to Inner and Outer Beauty’, think of sex not as recreation but as health. Dysfunction and difficulties in men are prevalent, with half of men between the ages of 40 and 70 having erectile dysfunction. The key point to focus on is that not everyone gets erectile dysfunction, and this is not an embarrassment issue, it really is a fundamental health issue. The male penis doesn’t have a bone in it, whereas most mammals do. there are some benefits and some disadvantages of that. However, at the end of the day, if its not working and the bloods not able to get into the organ, it means that you may have similar problems in your kidneys, brain and heart. So, we need to have a look for why it is that this beautiful dip stick of health isn’t functioning correctly.

It was found that 80% of erectile disfunction was lack of blood flow, vascular issues, and it affects every other organ; 20% are testosterone or other hormonal issues. The things that cause vascular disease, and therefore erectile dysfunction are,

  • High LDL Cholesterol
  • Hypertension
  • Prescription medication
  • Alcohol
  • Obesity

If your waist is over 40 inches, you will probably experience erectile dysfunction, because the belly fat grabs testosterone and converts it to oestrogen. The testosterone that drives sex in both in men and women is no longer there. Women experience the same kinds of problems with hormonal changes as you grow older, where not only are oestrogen and pod oestrogen important, but also testosterone levels drop as well. The ovaries don’t just make oestrogen, but they make testosterone as well. So, belly fat in women becomes an important factor. If your waist size is big you are loosing testosterone and are not going to have the sex quality you desire. Also, thyroid function is very important, the number one hormonal abnormality of all can also cause problems with libido. Apples, bananas and garlic increase blood flow and oysters have a lot of zinc which helps to preserve the testosterone, keeping it from breaking down.

Some of this is physiological, since when you’ve been with someone for thirty or forty years, it’s a long time. You have to reinvent it, because what initially keeps you together, that dopamine surge of physical attraction lasts only a couple of years. Then luckily you have the oxytocin bond, but both the dopamine and oxytocin wear off after about seven years. So if you’re married for 30 years, you have to reinvent your marriage four times.  You can increase the quality and spice up your sex life with some sex toys.
